Horses are our passion and the stud has been developed to try and produce good young stock from talented and well bred mares using stallions to complement existing qualities. 

Mares run together in a herd with their foals, who are weaned on site when ready. We have a retired pony who serves as a guiding light to the colts when they leave their mothers.

Freddie Best has a handful of horses which she events and being based at the stud she manages the day to day running of the operation.

We can cater for pregnant mares who will run with our herd, foal with us and then foals can stay with the herd until weaning.

Weaning and wintering in our large straw pens and then turn out in gender groups come nicer weather.
